CHUMC Book Group

The CHUM Book Group meets monthly at different homes over a potluck meal to discuss various works of fiction. We always seek to answer the question: "Where is God working in this story?" We have thoughtful and lively discussions!

Our selections have included: Dreams of My Russian Summers, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Gilead, Crow Lake, Middlesex, Peace Like a River, The Kite Runner, The God of Small Things, Life of Pi, The Known World, You Shall Know Our Velocity, Atonement, The Gospel of Judas, Girl Meets God, White Teeth, A Million Little Pieces, East of Eden, A Fine Balance, One Hundred Years of Solitude, My Sister's Keeper, and A Prayer for Owen Meanie.

CHUMC Church-Wide Retreat

Registration is due July 1, along with a deposit of $50, if you'd like to attend the CHUMC Retreat, "God's Recreation".
