In order to continue to help Pastor Ginger leave CHUMC well, and in the process continue to attend to the business and ministry of CHUMC, there will be a special Council and Church Leader meeting on May 11, 5:30 – 8pm. The Council meeting will begin at 5:30pm with a meal and provide an opportunity to attend to Council business, specifically information from the Finance Committee about the upcoming capital campaign and organ restoration. As with all Council meetings, it is open to all church members but focused on Council matters, so if you do not sit on Council, you are welcome to attend but not required. Council members, your participation is appreciated. Then from 7pm to 8pm will be a special worship service for all church leaders, and reflection from Pastor Ginger during this time of transition. This is open to all church leaders, including ministry team leaders and administrative committee members. We will have the opportunity to express our hopes and concerns as church leaders, as well as have the important conversations we need to have with Pastor Ginger before she leaves. Please put May 11 on your calendars for this important meeting and opportunity to be in shared ministry and fellowship with church leaders. Apologies in advance for this being Mother’s Day! Please feel free to contact anyone of us with questions or suggestions. Thank you. Sincerely, Pastor Ginger Kirsten Gullickson, SPPRC Chair Abbey Levenshus, Council Chair Trista Soendker Nicholson, Lay Leader Dottie Yunger, Student Associate
