The Local Missions Ministry team is hard at work supporting CHUMC's mission to be the heart of God in the community. Our volunteers engage in monthly service opportunities that include visiting women's shelters, participating in servathons and supporting Capitol Hill Group Ministry's outreach programs.
In September we joined CHUMC's team for the Humane Society Walk to benefit animals and help reduce pet homelessness. In the coming months, we'll be working to prepare meals for those in need and support our holiday festivities that will include Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas stockings for families in our community.
