• 10:30 AM: Festival of Lessons & Carols Worship (Sanctuary)

Celebrate the joy of the Advent season with a full morning of food, community, and festive music!

(Please note: On this special Sunday, our usual 9:00 AM worship service will make way for our community breakfast, followed by one unified worship service at 10:30 AM).

🥞 9 AM: Advent Community Breakfast

Kick off the morning around the table! Join our church community for a warm, delicious breakfast prepared by our community. It’s a wonderful, casual time to catch up, share a cup of coffee, and enjoy festive community before worship begins.

🎶 10:30 AM: Lessons & Carols Worship

Following breakfast, we will move into the sanctuary for our annual service of Lessons & Carols.

Our annual Lessons & Carols worship weaves together choral anthems, congregational hymns, scripture readings, and poetry to tell the story of the promise of the Messiah and the birth of Jesus.

This is a beautiful, reflective service for the congregation to experience together. There will be no separate Children’s Church on this Sunday. We invite all of our families to immerse themselves in the music and story of the season.

Special Notes for Children’s Choir Families

Members of our Children’s Choir can sing alongside the adult choir, participating in the anthems and musical leadership! Please contact Emily Baltzer, Music Director, for details and to jump in.

Tips for Worshiping with Kids Today

We love the sound of children in our sanctuary! If your little ones get wiggly during the longer scripture or poetry readings, don't sweat it. They are welcome to play quietly in our Children’s Space in the sanctuary or color our biblical coloring sheets in the pew with our coloring binders to help keep little hands busy while their ears take in the beautiful music.
