Christ is risen! Join us on Easter morning as we gather in the sanctuary to celebrate the joy of resurrection, the promise of new life, and the power of love that overcomes even the deepest darkness.
What to Expect in Worship
At Capitol Hill UMC, Easter is about gathering as a joyful, authentic Beloved Community to celebrate hope together.
🎉 Bringing Back the "Hallelujahs!" (With Noisemakers!): After setting aside the word "Hallelujah" throughout the 40 days of Lent, we welcome it back in full force on Easter morning! Worshippers of all ages will receive noisemakers to ring out in joyful celebration every single time "Hallelujah!" is spoken or sung.
🎶 Joyful Music & Message: Expect uplifting Easter hymns, inspiring music, and a message grounded in hope, justice, and renewal for our lives today.
🤝 Come Just As You Are: Whether you love dressing up in your spring best or feel most comfortable in jeans, whether you are in the pews every week or stepping into a church for the first time in years, there is a place for you here.
