The Procession of Palms & A Dramatic Reading of the Passion

• Worship Times: 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM

On Palm Sunday, our worship intentionally moves from joyful praise to deep contemplation, pairing the traditional celebration of palms with a dramatic performance of the Passion story.

What to Expect in Worship

🌿 Part 1: The Procession of the Palms

We open with festive community celebration! Worshippers of all ages—with our children leading the way—are invited to receive leafy palm branches and wave them high during our opening hymns, re-enacting the crowds welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem with shouts of "Hosanna!"

🎭 Part 2: The Dramatic Passion Performance

Following the joyful procession, our sanctuary shifts into a dramatic presentation of the Passion narrative.

• Through narration and responsive music, we bring the sacred drama to life, retelling the Last Supper, the garden of Gethsemane, the trials, and the road to the cross.

• This dramatic presentation gives our whole community the opportunity to engage the vulnerability and courage of Jesus' final days together before arriving at Easter morning.
