Caring for Our Sacred Spaces, Together
Event Details
Time: 9 AM – 12 PM (Drop in for an hour or stay all morning)
Who It’s For: All ages and skill levels—kids, youth, adults, and families
Food & Fuel: Coffee and breakfast treats at 9 AM
Our church home is a bustling hub of hospitality, worship, community meals, and justice work throughout the week. Once a year, we roll up our sleeves as a community to give our historic building and grounds the care, deep cleaning, and upkeep they need to support our ministries.
Caring for our facility is a shared act of stewardship and hospitality, ensuring our doors remain open, safe, and welcoming to every neighbor who enters.
Projects for Every Skill Level and Ability
You don’t need to be a skilled handyman or master gardener to pitch in. We have organized tasks suited for every comfort level and physical ability:
Indoor Organizing & Tidying: Sorting supply closets, organizing children's ministry classrooms, and dusting pews
Deep Cleaning & Refreshing: Sanitizing kitchen prep stations, washing lower windows, and wiping down baseboards and high-touch areas.
Grounds & Exterior Care: Raking, weeding flower beds, sweeping entry steps, and pruning bushes around the church perimeter.
Minor Repairs & Paint Touch-Ups: Spackling, touch-up painting in high-traffic hallways, and small hardware tightening.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dusty or paint-flecked, plus closed-toe shoes.
What to Bring (Optional): Work gloves or favorite small gardening hand tools if the weather is good
What We Provide: All primary cleaning products, paint, trash bags, rags, yard equipment, safety gear, and plenty of snacks, coffee, and water.
